With Halloween just a week away, people are on the hunt for the perfect pumpkin to carve into a Jack-O-Lantern. What type of Jack-O-Lanterns do you like? Do you like the friendly, happy ones ... or do you like the mean, evil ones? Or are you one of those artist types that spends hours carving a black cat silhouette or an even more elaborate scene or design?
Still undecided? Try out this great Pumpkin Simulator. The simulator lets you try out all sorts of faces and designs without touching a knife, a pumpkin or any of the nasty, slimey seeds and stuff inside them.
Kind of cool, huh? Let us know what type of pumpkin you draw and feel free to pass this along to others that may enjoy it.
Have a safe and happy Halloween!

The simulator was fun! This is my first Halloween as a mom, so I'm excited. We are picking out our pumpkins and carving this weekend. We're going with not too scary for the first couple of years... but I'm not sure if we'll do a face or a cat or something else.
Enjoyed the quick mental break! Thanks!
Thank you so much! This is going to be fun.
I'll definitely get my 3 1/2 year old son on this.
Take care.
Thanks for that... I made an American flag, got me off track, but welcomed.
Patty,
Thank you for sharing...it's always a tradition to buy a REAL pumpkin (not a plastic electrically lit one) and to carve it up, take the seeds out and roast them with brown sugar and cayenne pepper. I love the SCARY and MEAN jack-o-lanterns the best. In fact, I think we carved ours a little too early the scary one is actually "melting" out in the front yard...which actually adds to the "spooky" look...I still light a candle in it...Happy Halloween and stay safe.
How cool! I don't think our 19 month old will be to interested in pumpkin carving this year, but this will be great next year :)
Alisha, congrats on your first Halloween. Our grandaughter is 2, last year she was a kangaroo and this year she is going to be Minnie Mouse.
Richard, we just played it with our 2 year old grandaughter and she thought it was funny. Fridays' are the day that we watch her and we have a great time together.
Kim, that is a fun idea and very appropriate for the election.
Rebecca, we just brown the seeds in the oven with butter and salt but your idea sounds like one that we will defiantly want to try.
Jim & Maria, it's fun for us big kids too!
Patty & Scott-Very cool site, Thanks for sharing.
Joseph, it is a great Friday fun thing to do!
Thanks for sharing this website -- my daughter will love this -- what fun!

Patty and Scott, thanks for sharing in the fun of Halloween. I know my son will have a great time with this, and I may even pass it on to some friends of mine.

Troy - great, pass it around it is a cute one!
